While the Texas A&M game is squarely in the Notre Dame football rearview, it turns out that one Aggie had one more shot to take at the Irish before he moved on.
Last year, Marcus Freeman's squad traveled to College Station. It opened their season with a big exclamation point by upending Texas A&M in a stadium well known for being tough on visiting opponents. This year, the Aggies came to South Bend and returned the favor; however, senior running back Le'Veon Moss wasn't all that impressed by what he saw in the environment when he matched up with the Blue and Gold.
Texas A&M star was far from intimidated by Notre Dame football's stadium

"It was pretty cool," Moss told Paul Finebaum when asked about playing in Notre Dame Stadium. "Ain't nothing like Kyle Field, though. They got pretty loud, but it ain't like Kyle Field. Their fans ain't like ours, honestly."
Finebaum responded by stating that "people his age" see Notre Dame Stadium as a "cathedral" that is feared by nearly every opponent that enters. However, Moss clearly didn't feel like he or his team was all that intimidated.
It helps that the Irish continued to have defensive problems that first showed up in their season opener against Miami. In fact, in many ways, those problems got worse. It wasn't just about the pass rush or coverage; tackling was also a massive problem.
With the defense playing as poorly as it did on Saturday night, it's not a massive surprise that the fans weren't able to get as fired up as the Irish needed them to be.
There have also been plenty of complaints from other fans that, on occasion, Notre Dame's crowd can be a little too laid back. Moss was one of the first opposing players to comment on it publicly.
