The NFL Draft is over and now the work of finding all of the undrafted Notre Dame players a home begins.
Now that the NFL Draft is in our rearview mirror, we turn our attention to the players that didn’t end up getting their name called during the seven round process.
It’s always interesting to see who didn’t get drafted. Every year, and it doesn’t matter what school the players may be from, fans watch as these really big and household name players wait and wait and wait- until there is no more waiting.
Notre Dame fans shouldn’t have too many complaints as we watched as 7 players went drafted, which matched both Alabama and Florida.
Here are Notre Dame’s players that went undrafted, but signed free agent deals:

More from nfl draft
- Notre Dame football: Way too early 2024 NFL mock draft roundup
- Notre Dame football: Isaiah Foskey to the New Orleans Saints
- Notre Dame football: Michael Mayer to the Las Vegas Raiders
- Notre Dame football: 2023 NFL Draft predictions
- Ranking every Notre Dame football first-round draft pick of the last 25 years
Two of those names are extremely interesting to me. Romeo Okwara, a defensive end, signed a free agent deal and Ishaq Williams, a defensive end, was invited to tryout at their rookie camp. The New York Giants didn’t draft a single defensive end in this years NFL Draft, and took only one in the 2015 NFL Draft. So, there is certainly an opportunity that either or both can take if they ball out.
Chris Brown got rave reviews after Notre Dame’s pro day in March, and given the nature of those reviews, I was a little shocked he went undrafted. Not surprisingly though, the team that took a chance on some crazy athleticism appreciates a little speed, and the Dallas Cowboys signed Brown.
If there are any other signings of note, we will update them here fairly soon.
