The Top Five Shamrock Series Venues
By Bobby Norell
1. Fenway Park – 2015
While last season might have had the worst Shamrock Series uniforms, it did have the best venue we’ve seen so far. With all due respect to Wrigley Field, Fenway Park is the best ballpark in the country. There is nothing quite like a game at Fenway. It’s a quaint old ballpark that has a good mix of new school and old school features. You have the Green Monster in left field with the old fashion manual scoreboard, and then you also have the massive video board in center field.
Fenway Park is mostly known for it’s baseball usage, it still has a history of football. From 1963 to 1968 the Boston Patriots played at Fenway Park. The 2015 Shamrock Series game was actually the first football game played at Fenway since Patriots last played there in 1968.

Even though the Irish won the 2015 game against Boston College, it was quite forgettable. DeShone Kizer and the Irish offense turned the ball over five times en route to a 19-16 victory. The outcome was rather underwhelming considering that BC came into the game with a 3-7 record.
So that’s our top Shamrock Series venues, whats yours?
