When you shoot as well as the Irish, a lot of teams tend to begin forcing things and causing turnovers. The biggest downfall for a lot of elite programs is the inability to secure the ball. When it comes to Notre Dame, these players control the ball better than almost any.

Averaging 10 turnovers a game, the Irish may still make mistakes, but for the most part, the keep it to a minimum. The number of assists the Irish dish out a game, it shows how each one of their passes are on the dot. With ball security like this, competing with the top teams in the NCAA come a lot easier.

When you have one player turning the ball over more than twice a game (Matt Farrell 2.6 TO), you can count on your team to make the most out of every offensive position. When you combine this with the amount of steals and blocks, you begin to see why Notre Dame has stayed with every team they’ve lost to this year. Even in defeat, the Irish use their clean play to keep them competitive.
