Notre Dame Football Offers 6 Recruits From The ’18 Class This Week
Penei Sewell is a mammoth offensive lineman who is truly a man among boys on the football field.
His film is short but very impressive.
Sewell moves well for his size, especially laterally when they pull him on designed run plays. He’s a very intimidating pancake block specialist at the high school level.
He’s the type of dominant, college senior-sized offensive lineman you see charging 220 lb. defensive lineman 20 yards down field in an embarrassingly dominant fashion.

At 340 lbs., what’s impressive about him physically is that he doesn’t carry a lot of bad weight. College’s are surely drooling over the thought of adding such a brute force to their offensive front.
Sewell shows natural pass blocking skills. He does a good job of walling out edge rushers and knocking them back with a powerful punch. He also seems well conditioned and moves as though he could keep up a high effort pace all day without skipping a beat.
I see Penei Sewell as the type of offensive lineman who is too big, strong and fundamentally sound to keep off the field with some college programs.
I like USC and Utah in this one but as I say with most elite offensive lineman, never count out Harry Heistand.
