Pair Of Miami Commits Are On Campus At Notre Dame
Miami Carol City teammates are on campus at Notre Dame.
A source has told me that two Miami Carol City football recruits have made their way to Notre Dame for an unofficial visit. This news just came to me today as I was focusing on the several other recruits also making the trip to South Bend this Friday.
Cam’Ron Davis is one of the top running backs in the state of Florida. He committed to the Hurricanes back on February 18 over 17 other schools, including Michigan State, Wisconsin, Tennessee, Georgia, Oregon and South Carolina.
The Irish are in hot pursuit of a second running back for their 2018 class. Cam’Ron Davis would be an excellent compliment to long-time commit Markese Stepp.
Randy Russell isn’t ranked as high as his teammate Davis but he boasts 10 more offers than him including Florida, Georgia, Michigan, North Carolina, South Carolina and many other impressive schools.
Russell committed to Miami on February 18 as well. It seems as though Davis and Russell are close friends considering they committed to the same school on the same day and made the trip to South Bend together.

The Irish coaching staff are focusing on certain position groups at this time and running back and cornerback are certainly two of their glaring holes.
This is shaping up to be one busy weekend for the Irish recruiting department.
