Notre Dame Football: Who Else is Now Psyched About Josh Adams?

Notre Dame Football’s Twitter account posted a video the other day of running back, Josh Adams, pumping up the team. And it worked.

The video features highlight clips from spring practices while Adams is giving a speech. His words, to tell the team THEY ARE GOING to do whatever it takes and give everything they have. To summarize the meaning of the message, Adams simply wants the world to know; WE ARE when others aren’t.

Did the video get fans excited? Yes. In fact, if this didn’t get you ready for the season I’m not sure what would. But it’s message said more about Adams himself than the team. Yes, it showed that Notre Dame is looking good and has the motivation. But it also showed that Adams is ready to lead this team.

The senior running back is coming off his second impressive season, totaling 933 yards, five touchdowns and a 5.9 yards per carry average. Headed back in what looks to be more of a running offense in 2017, Adams is ready for a season for the ages.

Notre Dame’s backfield is going to be one of the best in the NCAA this season. Adams, along with Dexter Williams, C.J. Holmes, and Tony Jones Jr., are ready to be the country’s top backfield. Leading the charge is Adams, and as you can tell he’s ready to go.

This offense is going to be something special. There isn’t a position on this side of the ball that isn’t looking to compete to be one of the best in the nation. And the man in the front of it all will be Adams, the Irish senior who’s clearly ready to tear up the 2017 season.

We are a little under six months from the start of the season, spring practice just began, and already this team has fans in chills. 4-8 is a record that means nothing right now. This is a new team, new coaching staff, new starting quarterback. The one thing that stayed the same, Josh Adams and he may be the strongest part of the whole team.

Start getting hyped. This team is going to be something you don’t see too often. Alabama may be the “dynasty” of college football under Nick Saban. They may be the favorite coming into just about every season. But Notre Dame is up there this year. With the team they have, they’re primed for a National Championship run.

Josh Adams got everyone excited. He’s ready to tear up defenses across the country and Notre Dame is ready to win. There’s plenty of time left, but it’s never too soon to get psyched for the season.
