NFL Draft 2021: Could two Notre Dame football players go in first round?

Could Owusu-Koramora and Eichenberg go in first round of the 2021 draft?

Watching this Irish team is to see two players on opposite sides of the ball that have NFL written all over them. One of them is an anchor along the Notre Dame offensive line, a player who clears paths for the Irish’s stable of running backs, while also protecting the team’s No. 1 asset in Ian Book.

The other is a stud linebacker, a player who plays sideline to sideline, is an elite tackler, and can even make plays deep in coverage. Both players display a skill set that will make NFL scouts drool, and both could actually hear their names called in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft.

Of course, we are talking about linebacker Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah and offensive tackle Liam Eichenberg. If I had to guess, I like Owusu-Koramoah going anywhere from 15 to 25 next April, with Eichenberg inching his way into the bottom of the first round.

Owusu-Koramoah is widely mocked going in the first round, with the Buffalo Bills being one of the teams that selects him in multiple mocks. Eichenberg has been mocked everywhere from the first round, all the way to the third round, but he plays a premium position, and if the Irish continue to roll, his draft stock is going to soar.
