The Notre Dame football team will take on No. 25 North Carolina on the road on Friday, and here is how you can catch all the action.

The Notre Dame football program will take the show on the road for the fourth time in their last five games, as they travel to Chapel Hill to take on the No. 25 North Carolina Tar Heels. Notre Dame and North Carolina both come into this game fresh off their bye weeks, and have had ample time to get ready for this ACC showdown.

North Carolina has been explosive on offense all season long, and have put up at least 56 points in each of their last two games. Of course, those games were against the Duke and Wake Forest defenses, so the Irish are a whole other animal for Sam Howell and his Tar Heels teammates.

This is a crucial game for both programs, as the Irish are looking to keep their College Football Playoff hopes alive, and the Tar Heels finally crept back into the top-25 this week. They have both had time off to prepare for the matchup, so expect some fireworks, at least early on Friday.

Ian Book is having a terrific final season in South Bend, but he has been out of this world lately. This is a Tar Heels defense that he should have a field day against, but he is without two of his starting linemen, as Jarrett Patterson is done for the season, and guard Tommy Kraemer is out after having an appendectomy after the Boston College win.

The path is easy for the No. 2 ranked Fighting Irish, close out the regular season with three straight wins, and then prepare for a likely rematch against Clemson in the ACC title game. For a program playing in conference for only this season, they have dominated their slate so far, and should continue to do so against UNC.
