Notre Dame Football has a new signal-caller for the 2021 college football season, and he has the talent to succeed in South Bend.

As the Notre Dame Football program heads to life without Ian Book as their starting quarterback, there is still reason to be excited about the position group. They have some outstanding young talent coming in over the next two recruiting classes in Tyler Buchner and Steve Angeli, while a graduate transfer should be able to successfully take the reins in 2021.

Jack Coan is going to have success with the Irish, and here is why.

Notre Dame Football has solid talent around him

One look at this Irish football team on offense and it is clear that Coan has outstanding talent around him. We saw it during his time at Wisconsin, where he played behind a sturdy offensive line and had an elite running back in Jonathan Taylor, who was a monster at the collegiate level and is now tearing it up in the pros.

With that kind of talent, and him leading the way, the Badgers made it to a Big Ten Championship Game, and in South Bend, he should have that same kind of success. Notre Dame football has more talent than Wisconsin did that season coming back in 2021, and in Coan, they have a veteran leader who can utilize all the weapons at his disposal in what will be his only season as the starting quarterback.
