The Notre Dame Football program is losing a dynamic player in Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah, who brings an exciting skill set to the NFL level.

The Notre Dame Football team had their Pro Day on Wednesday, and of course, the biggest Notre Dame prospect of them all, Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah showed out. For JOK, this was another step on his journey to NFL stardom, and based on what we saw on Wednesday, there is no way he is getting out of the first round.

There have been some mocks lately that have him falling to the second round, which is absurd, as some even feel he could be the first defensive player off the board. Micah Parsons from Penn State had a great Pro Day as well, but he sat out the 2020 season due to COVID-19, which could give JOK a leg up on him.

Notre Dame Football is losing a star in JOK

With Owusu-Koramoah heading to the NFL, the Irish are losing a star on that side of the ball, someone who could be counted on to make big plays in the biggest of moments. Replacing him is not going to be easy, especially due to his versatility, something he is going to bring in a big way to the next level.

Whichever team gets JOK will be getting the kind of hybrid player that can dominate in the NFL. He is strong enough to come up and play in the box, is fast enough to play sideline-to-sideline, and is one of the better coverage linebackers we have seen in quite some time.

Most mock drafts have JOK going in the first round, and there are a lot of linebacker-needy teams within the middle of the first. Wherever he lands, the expectation is that he will be a Day 1 starter, and based on what we saw from his Pro Day, he is physically ready to make the jump to the NFL.
