The Notre Dame Football program has a lot of talent coming in with their 2022 recruiting class, and we sat down with elite commit, Tyson Ford.

The Notre Dame Football program is having itself one heck of a recruiting cycle when it comes to the 2022 recruiting class. They currently stand as one of the top-5 classes through the first few months of the year, and it is only going to get better with Marcus Freeman as the defensive coordinator.

Freeman is one of the elite recruiters in all of college football, and that is going to lead to the Irish getting some of the best players in the country consistently. Remember, the Irish are trying to bridge the talent gap between them and the likes of Alabama, Ohio State, and Clemson, and it is players like Tyson Ford that are going to help them do just that.

Ford is one of the top recruits for the Irish in their 2022 recruiting class and is rated by 247Sports as not only the No. 2-ranked player in the state of Missouri, but also the No. 8 defensive end in the country. Landing him is going to go a long way in this defense continuing to produce at a very high level.

This past week, I was fortunate enough to catch up with Ford and we were able to discuss a variety of topics together. The 6’6″ 260lbs defensive end out of John Burroughs School in St. Louis, Missouri discussed his relationship with the Irish staff, the off-season training program he follows, and more.

Ford and I had a great conversation, so let’s dive right into it.
