Notre Dame Football: Tommy Tremble perfect complement to George Kittle
By Brad Weiss
The Notre Dame Football team will lose tight end, Tommy Tremble, due to the 2021 NFL Draft, and he would find a perfect spot in the Bay Area.
When he first announced that he would be entering the 2021 NFL Draft, there were not many fans out there who felt it was a good idea. Tremble did not have a standout career in South Bend, but he was a crucial part of their offense and a player who will be certainly missed next season.
The problem was, Tremble was not even the top tight end on the Notre Dame Football roster, a place held by true freshman Michael Mayer. Still, he must have been talking to the right people, as ever since he has declared for the draft, he has been rocketing up draft boards.
There is now no doubt that Tremble will be selected across the three-day event at the end of this month, and one media outlet feels he could be a perfect complement to a star player of their own at tight end.
Notre Dame Football star would be perfect with San Francisco.
Recently, Niner Noise, the San Francisco 49ers team site for FanSided spoke to the team adding the Notre Dame Football star. Adding Tremble to their offense would be a perfect scenario for Kyle Shanahan, as Tremble would be an excellent complement to current star tight end George Kittle in this 49ers offense
Kittle is one of the best tight ends in the NFL and recently was on the receiving end of a monster deal to stay in the Bay Area for the foreseeable future. He is an elite pass-catcher, and a solid blocker, and teamed with Tremble, he would get some help and depth at the position group, which could lead to even bigger numbers for him.
Tremble has an incredible skill set as well, and is going to be a solid player at the next level in the passing game, and when blocking. San Francisco has a playoff-ready roster, and this is a crucial offseason for them, and by drafting Tremble, they will be getting a very low-risk, high-reward prospect to add to their collection of weapons on offense.
