Notre Dame Football: Day 2 landing spots for Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah

No. 1: Pick No. 36, Miami Dolphins

One spot I really like JOK to land is at pick No. 36 overall, as the Miami Dolphins are the team to finally select the All-American linebacker. Like the Patriots, Miami has a defensive-minded head coach in Brian Flores, a man who actually called the plays on defense for Belichick during his time in New England.

This Dolphins team is loaded with young talent, and they got their wide receiver and edge rusher they needed on Thursday in Jaylen Waddle and Jaelan Phillips. In JOK, they would fill the void that was left when Kyle Van Noy was allowed to walk this offseason, as he has the talent to be a Day 1 starter, going from South Bend to South Beach.

Of course, there is good reason to believe that JOK comes off the board right away on Friday night, as the Jacksonville Jaguars defense could use a young talent like him as well. Him falling out of the first round may have been a shock to Notre Dame Football fans on Thursday, but that won’t temper the excitement when he is finally selected Friday.
