Notre Dame Football: 5 new potential impact players on offense in 2021

No. 1: OG Cain Madden

We finish our list of five new faces who will make an impact on this offense in 2021 with a guy who just joined the program. Cain Madden choose the Irish as his new place to play his collegiate football, after an All-American career at Marshall.

The graduate transfer will step in and start at left guard for the Irish, giving them a veteran presence, and someone who can help in the development of Spindler. Madden was an absolute beast during his time with the Thundering Herd, and his addition bolsters what should be an elite offensive line for the Irish once again in 2021.

There is a lot of turnover on this offense this upcoming season, but new faces will emerge and continue to move the program in the right direction. The offensive line may have taken a big hit by the 2021 NFL Draft, but Brian Kelly and his staff have reloaded, and two true freshmen could anchor a new-look unit this Fall.
