Notre Dame football: 3 reasons Kyren Williams will be a 2021 All-American

Williams has a knack for finding the end zone

Last season, Williams carried the ball 211 times, rushed for 1,125 yards, and found the end zone 13 times on the ground. He also was able to haul in a touchdown through the air, giving him 14 touchdowns on the season, good for more than one per ballgame.

In 2021, I believe that Williams will actually increase in his touchdown mark, scoring well over 15 times on the ground, and a handful of times through the air. If he can get his touchdown totals closer to 20, with how many yards he is expected to rack up on the ground, and through the air, he will have the kind of stat line that could make him a first-team All-American.

Overall, the Irish should once again be one of the better teams in the country in 2021, and if they do make it back to the College Football Playoff, Williams is going to be a big reason why. Notre Dame football is known for having incredible offensive linemen, and talented backs running behind them, and Williams is as good as we have seen recently in South Bend.
