Florida State Seminoles vs. Notre Dame Football: 3 Irish players to watch
No. 1: Jack Coan
We close out our top-3 members of the Fighting Irish to watch on Sunday night with the man who plays the most important position in all of the sports. As stated earlier, Jack Coan is replacing Ian Book as quarterback for the Irish in 2021, and he certainly has a lot of weapons to work with as they take on the Seminoles.
Coan proved during his time at Wisconsin that he is more than just a game-manager, and if the Irish can get the run game going, I believe he is going to have a big day against a weak Florida State secondary. Replacing a legend is never easy, and nobody won more games for the Irish than Book, but all Coan needs to do is stack wins in his only season under center in South Bend.
Overall, this game has the potential to be a good one, as the Seminoles are talented, and the Irish have so many changes on both sides of the ball. Coan proved to be an effective starter at Wisconsin, playing against some big-time college programs, and for Notre Dame, he is the No. 1 player to keep an eye on Sunday night.
