The Notre Dame football team has a chance to continue to move up the rankings, and here are two games to keep an eye on this weekend.

The Notre Dame football team is coming off a solid ten-point victory over the University of North Carolina Tar Heels, as they got a strong effort from running back Kyren Williams. Thanks to a revamped offensive line, Williams was able to run all over the Tar Heels defense, rushing for 199 yards on the day, and going for over 200 all-purpose yards.

This weekend, the Irish will take on the Navy Midshipmen in a game that they should win easily. Going into the early part of the week, Notre Dame football was listed as a 22-point favorite over the Midshipmen, are playing their best football of the season, and have the luxury of playing inside Notre Dame Stadium.

Sitting at 7-1, and very much alive for not only a New Years Six bowl game but also a College Football Playoff spot, the Irish need to continue to take care of business. We have seen them struggle against lesser teams all season long, as was the case against Toledo, so looking past any opponent at this point is not an option.

Outside of the Irish’s matchup against Navy, keep an eye on these two games this weekend as well.
