The Notre Dame football team takes on Georgia Tech in Week 12, and here are three bold predictions for the matchup on Saturday.

The Notre Dame football team has only two games left in their regular season, and as they go into their matchup with Georgia Tech, there is a real chance of them making the College Football Playoff. In fact, most projections have them as having better than a 50 percent chance of getting in, which is better than nearly every other team outside of the current top-3.

For the Irish, the task is simple, finish strong, pummeling both Georgia Tech and Stanford. Here we look at the matchup against the Yellow Jackets and make some bold predictions for Saturday.

Notre Dame football vs. Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets: 3 bold predictions

Kyren Williams and Logan Diggs run for over 200 yards

The running game for the Irish has been on fire ever since they revamped the offensive line, and it is not only Kyren Williams who is getting into the mix. True freshman Logan Diggs is running through, and over the opposition in his first season in South Bend, and has star written all over him.

On Saturday, these two could run wild, combining for over 200 yards on the ground.

Jack Coan has his best game of the season

Georgia Tech is atrocious against the pass, and we have seen the best of Jack Coan across the last few games. He is one of the more efficient quarterbacks in the country right now, and on Saturday, he could be in for the best game of his season against the Yellow Jackets.

The Irish will try to run the ball early on, but that will open up the outside, where Kevin Austin Jr. and Lorenzo Styles Jr. are emerging as legitimate threats downfield.

Irish win by four scores

The Irish are going to dominate the Yellow Jackets on Saturday, as they can smell blood in the water, and are just on another level when it comes to these two teams. You can expect them to cover the large spread, winning by four scores, and notching another victory in front of the home crowd.

This is a game where the Irish need to show the CFP voters that they are legit, and deserve a chance to play for a national title. They have been one of the best teams in college football over the past few weeks, and with the way they are playing on both sides of the ball, they would be a hard out for any team right now.
