Notre Dame football at Stanford: 3 things to watch in Week 13

Total Domination

The goal for this Notre Dame football team is simple on Saturday night, and that is to dominate the Cardinal, and put together another statement win in their quest to make it back to the College Football Playoff. Based on how they have played as of late, the Irish certainly look like a CFP team, and with how they run the ball, as well as Marcus Freeman scheming the defensive game plan, they would be a tough out.

Stanford is a team that is trending in the wrong direction, and they were just beaten by 30 by a Cal team that is nowhere near as talented as Notre Dame is. A 30-point win would be an excellent end to the regular season for Notre Dame, which would be their seventh win in a row.

The Irish are one of the hottest teams in college football right now, and with a win on Saturday, they will have done all they can to punch their ticket to the College Football Playoff. Of course, more chips have to fall the right way for the Irish to get in, but one thing is for sure, this group became a team this season, and the future is bright in South Bend.
