Notre Dame basketball: 3 things we learned in the win against UNC

Blake Wesley needs to stay this aggressive

For the first time in a long time, the Notre Dame basketball program could have a one-and-done player, as Blake Wesley is turning into a potential 2022 NBA Draft pick. This is a kid who can get the job done on both sides of the floor, can stroke it from beyond the arc, and is fantastic off the dribble, making him a legitimate NBA prospect.

In what could be his only season with the Irish, the South Bend native needs to continue to stay aggressive, as that will keep defenses honest the rest of the way. Even if his shot is not falling, Wesley has to continue to attack the basket and take his open shots, as the Irish need that kind of star-power coming down the stretch.

This was another statement win for the Irish, and you can tell this team is playing well off one another as the season has progressed. This was a good resume win in terms of their NCAA Tournament chances, and with so many veterans on this team, they would be a very hard out if they can get to the Big Dance.
