The Notre Dame football team will see Kyren Williams hit the field on Day 2 of the 2022 NFL Combine, as he continues his NFL journey.

The Notre Dame football team got outstanding work from running back Kyren Williams across the last two seasons, as he posted back-to-back 1,000-yard campaigns. Today, Williams will begin his journey to the NFL, as the running backs and offensive linemen go through on-field workouts at the 2022 NFL Combine.

For Williams, this is another chance to show why many consider him a top-5 running back in this year’s class. He is not only a tremendous runner, but he has the ability to make plays in the passing game out of the backfield as well and is also an outstanding blocker.

Those are the three skills that are going to make him a sought-after draft pick when all is said and done, as he has the potential to be a three-down back you can build an offense around.

On Day 1, the Notre Dame football team showed out, as Jack Coan was impressive throwing the football, and Kevin Austin Jr. really turned some heads. We figured based on his athletic ability that Austin would have a solid week down in Indy, and now, I believe he is no longer a fringe draft pick, and could vault all the way up to a possible fourth-round selection.

As it stands, Williams is expected to be selected on Day 2 of the 2022 NFL Draft, but some feel he could be the best all-around running back in this class. Not only does he have the speed to compete at the next level, but he is as strong as they come and one team is going to end up getting an elite running back when all is said and done.
