Notre Dame football: All-Irish 2022 NFL Mock Draft after the Combine
Round 7, Pick No. 224: Myron Tagovailoa-Amosa, Las Vegas Raiders
The final pick in our All-Irish 2022 7-round NFL Mock Draft is defensive lineman Myron Tagovailoa-Amosa, who I believe has the versatility to help a team right away. One team that will be in the market for defensive line help is the Las Vegas Raiders, who need depth coming off the edges and strong depth on the inside.
Based on the fact that he played in both spots at Notre Dame, Tagovailoa-Amosa would be a low-risk, high-reward draft prospect for the Silver and Black. They hold the No. 224 overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, and new general manager David Ziegler would love what he can bring to the table upfront along the defensive line, while also saving them some cap space in free agency.
Other Notre Dame draft prospects could put together a solid Pro Day and land as a Day 3 pick, but as of now, these five have the best chances of hearing their names called in the 2022 NFL Draft. The 2023 NFL Draft could feature more than ten players selected, but while the haul in 2022 may not be as numerous, there are plenty of guys who could make an impact at the next level right away.
