The Notre Dame football program should see Kyle Hamilton selected tonight, and here is how you can watch Round 1 of the 2022 NFL Draft.

The time has come for the 2022 NFL Draft, and for the Notre Dame football team, that means their newest group of pros will enter the highest level of football in the world. The big-name to keep an eye on as we kick off Round 1 tonight is Kyle Hamilton, a consensus top-5 pick, and someone that the scouts are very high on.

We have seen Hamilton mocked all over the place, from down at No. 12 overall to Minnesota, to up at No. 2 overall to the Detroit Lions. I believe that is where he should land based on his talent and skill set, but as we see every year with the NFL Draft, anything can happen.

Remember, the Irish have not had a player taken in the first round since the 2019 NFL Draft, when Jerry Tillery was selected by the Los Angeles Chargers with the No. 28 overall pick. We expected Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah to be selected as high as the top-10 last year, but a medical issue forced him to fall to Day 2, extending the Irish first-round drought.

For Hamilton, that should not be an issue.

What: 2022 NFL Draft, Round 1

When: Thursday, April 28, 2022

Where: Las Vegas, Nevada

Television Station: ABC, ESPN, NFL Network

Live Stream: FuboTV

Of course, outside of Hamilton, the Irish do not have many prospects that are expected to go on Days 1 and 2, and we likely will not see another selected until the festivities kick off on Saturday. We could see the likes of Jack Coan, Kurt Hinish, or Kevin Austin Jr. taken, as well as Myron Tagovailoa-Amosa and Kyren Williams, but I would expect none of them selected tonight.

Overall, it should be an exciting three-day event for the Notre Dame football team, and good luck to all the players who will be realizing their NFL dreams across the next few days.
