Notre Dame football is hosting a massive number of recruits during the USC rivalry game and there are a couple of prospects at the top of the list.

The Notre Dame football team is going to be having a rather big recruiting weekend when they take on the USC Trojans. Most of the kids who are going to be in South Bend are already those who have committed to the Irish.

That doesn’t make hosting them any less important. The team is still looking to make sure the guys it has reeled in are staying true to their word. Having them on campus for a game of this magnitude will hopefully go a long way in that regard.

Some of the recruits stand out from the pack. They are the ones that need to locked down above all others because of their talent and where they’ll have the Notre Dame football team sitting pretty in the next few classes.

Notre Dame football hosting top quarterback in 2025 class

Deuce Knight is an incredibly talented quarterback prospect who, according to 247Sports, is the top quarterback in the class.

He’s also someone who has been doing some pretty heavy peer recruiting. That’s one of the reasons it’s a good thing he’ll be in town for this game. With 17 other dudes watching  and wanting to make sure they picked the right school, he will certainly make that pitch.

Cam Williams comes to town

2024 wide receiver prospect Cam Williams is going to be quite the weapon for Notre Dame football in the coming years. The nice thing is he’ll be playing alongside Knight at some point, but he’ll be able to get a taste of college life before Knight arrives on campus a year later.

Justin Thurman on campus against USC

One of the top quarterbacks in the country, one of the best wide receivers in the 2024 class and then of course, of the best running backs in the class as well. With Justin Thurman joining the group that will be in town for the USC game, Notre Dame football has a ton of talent on campus.

The question is going to be whether Marcus Freeman can keep them all on board when the smoke clears.
