The Notre Dame football team is coming off another big win for its College Football Playoff push thanks to a 51-14 win over Navy. And after the AP Polls move the Irish a little further into the Top 25, it looks like Marcus Freeman and company are safely "in."
With the latest rankings and a little bit of a shakeup thanks to LSU losing to Texas A&M in rather brutal fashion, there are some new seeds and some shifting up and down. The margin for error is still very small, but there's still good news for fans. Better news in fact.
The Notre Dame football team is safely in the playoffs and in fact, looks like they'll play a game in South Bend in order to really try and make a run. If there's "bad" news here, it's that all of this could come crashing down if they let up and lose a game like they did against NIU.

The Irish finally get a home game in my projections as they basically get in right where they're at now. If these projections hold, it means they would host BYU, which would certainly one heck of an interesting matchup.
It seems odd to say, because it feels like the season just started, but we're not that far away now. It's only a couple more weeks until Notre Dame football and the rest of the sport learn their fates for the College Football Playoffs.
