Notre Dame has been the poster child for a running offense this season behind running backs Jeremiyah Love and Jadarian Price. The running back duo has been practically unstoppable this season, with both scoring a total of 22 touchdowns for the Fighting Irish.
The Fighting Irish are set to take on Pitt this weekend, a team ranked No. 22 in the latest College Football Playoff rankings. College GameDay will also be in town for this matchup, making this an even more important matchup.
While both of these teams match up well on paper, no team has yet been ready for the duo that is Love and Price. However, one CBS Sports analyst seems to think Pit has the best chance yet.
CBS Sports' Brian Jones is taking Pitt over Notre Dame because of their run defense

The start of the season was a little rough for Jeremiyah Love, especially when all the media hype was behind him. However, ever since then, Love and fellow running back Jadarian Price have been a one-two punch no one has had an answer for.
When talking about the Notre Dame vs. Pitt matchup, the CBS Sports crew had some interesting takes, but none more interesting than Brian Jones when he picked Pitt to upset the Fighting Irish for a shocking reason.
"I'm gonna go with Pitt in this all game," Jones said. "I believe they can stop the run."
Now, Pitt does have the No. 5 defense against the rush according to Gameonpaper.com, but Notre Dame has the No. 1 rushing offense. Those are some great rankings for both teams, but it seems like the Fighting Irish could edge out the Panthers on the ground.
The weather could also be a big factor in this, as there could be some rainy conditions that could favor the run game, and with the type of moves Love and Price can make, they could have the defense on skates.
Jones has a really interesting take here, but Notre Dame could easily have the last laugh here with Love and Price on their squad.
