Elite Notre Dame target Kemon Spell drops major hint in latest game

The Notre Dame football team hosted former Penn State commit Kemon Spell last weekend and reportedly made such a good impression that the Fighting Irish are now the leaders in the race. Spell is still keeping things under wraps if there is a real new leader, but he might have dropped a big hint during his latest game for McKeesport.

The top running back in Pennsylvania and the entire 2027 class continues to have an excellent junior season despite missing a few games due to injuries.

In a Friday night game against Knoch, the Notre Dame target's team dispatched their opponent easily, 57-0, but Spell's domination of the school took a backseat to what he did when he scored on a long touchdown run.

The running back posted the video on his own Instagram, and it was then shared on Twitter and other social media sites. It shows Spell taking the handoff and busting through the line for the long TD. As he reached the end zone, he busted out the Jeremiyah Love touchdown celebration.

Considering he got to watch Love do that in person last weekend when he watched Notre Dame beat USC, it looks like the Heisman candidate's performance stuck with him.

While the Fighting Irish do seem like the front-runners for Kemon Spell, the fight is far from over. There are still several big schools expecting a visit.

Miami, Georgia, and others could still get unofficial visits. The Bulldogs might be the biggest competition, considering he decommitted from Penn State not long after the SEC power made him an offer.

Kemon Spell does have an official prediction for the Notre Dame football team. However, considering he's a 2027 prospect, he's got plenty of time to really pick his team. Still, the nod to Jeremiyah Love can't be discounted.
