Jeremiyah Love is having himself one heck of a season for the Notre Dame football team. It is in fact, a record tying season that could turn into a record breaking season next week. He’s also having himself a game already for the Irish against the No. 19 Army Black Knights who would very much love to get themselves an upset.

Love has seemingly taken his game to a new level in 2024 after being a nice change of pace, but little else for the Irish while Audric Estime was the premiere back. There were questions about who would step up between Love and Jadarian Price. It was Love. In a big way.

The star Notre Dame football running back moved into a tie at the top of the school record books on Saturday night when he took a bubble screen from Riley Leonard and took it into the end zone. Of course, before he got to the endzone, he had to completely hurdle an army defender. And he did it while making it look ridiculously easy.

Notre Dame football back ties school record with emphatic TD

The score means that Love has scored a touchdown (either rushing or receiving) in every game this season. In total, Love has 14 touchdowns this year. Oddly, that was just his second receiving TD of the season.

It also put the Irish up 14-0 on the game. Since then, Army has managed to get a score, but Love’s touchdown catch was something special for several reasons.
