Even though he had a slower start to his season, Notre Dame running back Jeremiyah Love has certainly come into form this season. So far this season, Love has 1,135 rushing yards and 14 rushing touchdowns, which is more yards than he had in all of 2024 and only three touchdowns short of what he had last season.

Before the season, Love had everyone in the media talking about what his 2025 season would look like. Love was even named as a potential Heisman Trophy favorite, and that still is the case. While it is hard for a non-quarterback to win the award, Love has certainly done enough to prove he could win it.

All offseason, Love worked to be even better in 2025 than he was in 2024, and some of that was working on different moves to break tackles and get away from defenders. The Fighting Irish running back showed off what he learned against Pitt, and it had fans going crazy.

Jeremiyah Love puts a defender in the spin cycle with crazy move vs. Pitt

The video above shows one of the craziest spin moves a running back can make, and Love did that against Pitt, one of the top run defenses in the country. After finding a seam in the line, Love hit it and was able to spin away from a defender and then turned on the jets for a 56-yard touchdown run.

Notre Dame reporter Tyler Horka reported on Notre Dame wide receiver Malachi Fields' take on Love's run, and it is absolutely amazing to see that Love's hard work paid off.

"He had been working on that spin move in practice all the time," Fields said. "We see him just working and working and working, and then all of a sudden, there it is."

Clearly, Love is constantly trying to better himself every single day in practice, and it is great to see it pay off, especially with a big run against a rival like Pitt.
