It is officially NFL Draft month as the calendar turns to April and players continue to ready themselves to join the ranks of the pros. For a few Notre Dame players, like Malachi Fields and Jeremiyah Love, they have the opportunity to go pretty high in the draft and not have the agonizing wait.
Love probably will have to wait the least amount of time of any Notre Dame player in the draft, as not only is he projected first round, but right now, he could be going in the top five. After the Kansas City Chiefs and New Orleans Saints, the favorites to draft Love, brought in veteran RB talent in free agency, it has actually helped Love's stock, as many believe he could go to the Tennessee Titans at four.
College football analyst Joel Klatt absolutely loves everything that Love brings to the table at the running back position. Klat believes that Love can do it all on the field, and that is what sets him aside as a running back, and it is what makes him so valuable to draft early.
"I know some people will say, like, 'you can't draft a running back that high in the first round.' Well, maybe you can if it's a talent like this," Klatt said on his podcast.

Jeremiyah Love is also in play for the New York Giants at No. 5
While the Titans make the most sense to land Love out of the NFL Draft, there has also been some chatter around Love possibly going at No. 5 to the New York Giants. It seems like a tough call as the Giants have running back Cam Skattebo, but he is coming back from a pretty rough ankle injury suffered last season.
The Giants need some very dynamic offensive weapons for quarterback Jaxson Dart, and Love can provide that. Not only is Love a dynamic runner, but he also has the ability to slip out of the backfield and become a great pass-catcher.
Love can also block as well as any other running back, and his size and ability to play all three downs could land him a top NFL Draft spot.
