Jeremiyah Love has an off-field attitude that should attract all 32 NFL teams

Notre Dame running back Jeremiyah Love doesn't seem to worry about too much other than football, and it should make him even more attractive to NFL franchises.

There is no denying just how good Jeremiyah Love is in the back field.

One of the greatest Notre Dame running backs of all time, Love set records and led the team to an appearance in the National Championship game during his three seasons with the Fighting Irish.

While his in-game talents are obviously the thing that first caught the eyes of NFL general managers and coaches, his off-field qualities should undeniably seal the deal for his place in the 2026 NFL Draft.

When he recently pitched himself to the 32 franchises in the NFL, Love shared a bit about himself, and it should be music to teams' ears.

"You draft me, I’m not doing too much," Love said. "After a game, I’m going home, playing video games… and watch anime."

Jeremiyah Love's focus is football, not fame or fortune

Unlike a lot of young athletes, who opt to spend their time away from the field by celebrating their success out on the town, on trips, or in some other form or fashion, Love just wants to go home and relax when he isn't playing in a game or at practice.

Love made a name for himself as one of the most talented players in all of college football over the last few years, earning a place as a Heisman Trophy finalist in 2025.

Simultaneously, he made a name for himself as one of the more soft-spoken athletes in all of college football, choosing to keep his attention on family, friends, loved ones, and, of course, the game itself.

"I’m a simple guy," Love said to wrap up his pitch to NFL teams. "I’m not going to cause you no type of trouble."

What a dream for whichever franchise gets to add the Notre Dame Fighting Irish star to their roster.

Love is projected to be a top-10 pick in this year's NFL Draft, going as high as No. 3 overall in some mock drafts. No matter what, his in-game talent and his off-field mindsets are going to set him up for success in the league.

The 2026 NFL Draft is set to begin on Thursday, April 23, and continue through Sunday, April 26. The Draft will be broadcast on ESPN as well as the NFL Network.
