Notre Dame can celebrate the Seattle Seahawks winning the Super Bowl just a little extra, with former players Rylie Mills and Julian Love both getting their first rings. For Mills, he is lucky enough to win it all in his first season, while Love had to wait just a bit longer to reach the NFL mountaintop.
Love was drafted in the fourth round of the 2019 NFL Draft by the New York Giants, where he would spend four years of his career. In 2023, Love made the move to Seattle and signed with the Seahawks, and so far has spent three years with the now Super Bowl Champions.
The former Notre Dame safety has become a solid part of the Seahawks defense that ended up being the best in the league this season. Love did have a big part in the Super Bowl, catching an interception with less than nine minutes left in the fourth quarter, stifling the Patriots' attempt at a comeback.
After the game, Love provided ana amazing quote that should make every Notre Dame fan smile.
"It's special, I've dreamed of this my whole life," Love said. "This is just a dream come true."

Love also mentioned how he hopes his family is proud of him, which they absolutely have to be. In his seventh year in the league, Love can officially call himself a Super Bowl Champion, something every young football player dreams of.
Not only can Love call himself a champion, but he can say he is one of an elite group to have an interception in the big game as well. Love truly is one that Notre Dame fans can be proud of, and hopefully, he can find a way back to the big game again next year to win another ring.
