Notre Dame football coach Marcus Freeman is a great football coach. In his few seasons with the Fighting Irish, he has already done so much for the program, but he is also just a genuinely good guy off the field.

Notre Dame is building a new athletic facility called Shields Family Hall, and Freeman took the time out of his day to go and speak with the construction crew who is building everything, as well as getting them lunch and some new tools.

Even with the season simply just days away, Freeman knew it was important to take the time out of his day to go over and thank the people who are putting in the hard work to build a state-of-the-art facility at Notre Dame. This facility will certainly help Freeman in recruiting and show prospective players they would have a good place at Notre Dame to work and study, and do everything they need.

Freeman has always shown that life off the field is just as important as life on the field, and this is just another example. Of course, everyone wants to win football games, but being a good person is an easy thing to do, and supporting those who support the Notre Dame football program is something Freeman knows is important as well.

The football season is almost upon Notre Dame fans, but this is jsut a nice little reminder to do something positive with your day because it doesn't take a lot of effort, and it can be a good reminder to others to do the same.
