Notre Dame is set to take things to a new level in the wide receiver room in 2026, and this pass-catcher is hoping to lead the way.

The Notre Dame wide receiver room is going to have a very different look in 2026 as the Fighting Irish added a couple of weapons from Ohio State. Both Mylan Graham and Quincy Porter both makde the jump from Columbus to South Bend through the transfer portal to add depth to what was a light WR room for Notre Dame.

Neither Graham nor Porter contributed much to Ohio State in the 2025 season, but with Jeremiah Smith and Carnell Tate taking the lion's share of targets, Graham and Porter are ready for bigger roles.

With Jereimiyah Love, who led Notre Dame in their offensive attack for the last two seasons, heading to the NFL, quarterback CJ Carr is hoping to get the passing game going more in 2026, and these guys have the chance to make that happen.

Mylan Graham is ready for his fresh start at Notre Dame

Ohio State wide receivers loved being in Columbus with coach Brian Hartline, at least Mylan Graham did, so when Hartline took the head coaching position at USF, he had to look at his position with the Buckeyes. After reassessing his outlook with Ohio State, Graham chose to enter the transfer portal and found a home in South Bend with head coach Marcus Freeman.

With spring ball just around the corner, Graham is ready for his fresh start with Notre Dame.

"My personal goal, I want to get way stronger," Graham said during media availability. "Just be a more physical receiver with 50-50 balls and contested catches."

Being able to know exactly where he wants to improve for the 2026 season shows a lot of maturity for Graham and something that should excite Notre Dame fans. The offense is going to look very different without Love carrying the ball, so Graham has a chance to really make a name for himself at Notre Dame.
