The Notre Dame basketball team finally has itself its first transfer portal addition. It’s been an interesting offseason so far for Micah Shrewsberry and it’s pretty clear that there have been some people plenty nervous about the direction of the program.

That was despite the fact that the Fighting Irish did manage to mane sure that star guard Markus Burton is coming back for a third season. Now, it’s possible that things are really going to get rolling considering Shrewsberry has added a very talented player to his roster who fills a big hole.

Now the Notre Dame basketball team has hauled in Northern Arizona forward Carson Towt according to Sam Kayser. Towt might have been playing for a small school, he still managed to lead the nation in rebounds and was a decent scorer close to the hoop as well. Towt averaged 13.3PPG, 12.4RPG and 3.4APG this season

Reactions to Notre Dame basketball landing Carson Towt

Not long after the former Northern Arizona big man announced where he would play next season, the reactions came rolling in on social media. Unsurprisingly, Notre Dame Fighting Irish fans are happy about getting such a talented big man.
