Notre Dame fans joining together and forming a shield from hate is a beautiful sight

College football fans are really hating that Notre Dame is ranked so high in the CFP rankings, and

Notre Dame came in at No. 10 in the first College Football Playoff rankings of the season, just barely putting them in the field for the playoff at the end of the season. That means that the Fighting Irish are above teams like Texas, Oklahoma, and Miami, a team that beat them at the beginning of the season.

However, Miami also has two losses, like Texas and Oklahoma, and the selection committee felt that the Fighting Irish had a stronger resume in order to put them in. Apparently, that means that the committee is doing everything possible to put Notre Dame in, according to a lot of college football fans.

To this point in the season, Notre Dame has earned where they are in the rankings, but no one wants to give them that credit, so the fans are making sure everyone knows that the hate is unwarranted. When given the chance, Notre Dame will show everyone why it deserves a spot in the CFP.

Notre Dame fans are ready to go to battle for the Fighting Irish

Seeing all the hate Notre Dame is getting for its ranking truly is absolute cinema. It is almost like everyone is thinking these will be the exact rankings at the end of the season, when there are still a few weeks left in the season.

The strength of losses matters, and Miami lost to two unranked teams while Notre Dame has lost to two ranked teams, one in the Top 3 and the other ranked No. 18 in the CFP rankings.

Oklahoma lost to Texas, who lost to Ohio State and a really bad Florida team, and not only did they lose to Texas, but they were destroyed, and a win against Michigan right now isn't meaningful to the committee.

Say it louder for the people in the back!

Four more games to show the committee why they deserve a spot and show all the haters they are wrong.

Notre is an independent team, and they have been for a long time. If the College Football Playoff selection committee didn't want to put an independent team in the CFP, then they wouldn't, but Notre Dame has proved itself.

Everyone grab your popcorn because it honestly will be so funny.

It truly is funny because all but a few teams have losses so the argument could be made for any team to make the playoffs and any team to miss the playoffs. There is still another month left of the season to see what happens.
