While the Notre Dame Fighting Irish won their game against the Stanford Cardinal, 49-7 there were still some things to complain about. Chief among them was that the Blue and Gold really don't have a very good broadcasting crew.

For those who are not huge fans of Dan Hicks and Jason Garrett, they get a bit of a reprieve on Saturday. The broadcast crew for the game against Georgia Tech was announced earlier this week and - in my best Curb Your Enthusiasm voice - it looks pretty, pretty, pretty good.

On the call for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish’s visit to Atlanta will be Bob Wischusen and Louis Riddick, while Kris Budden works the sidelines. It’s been a while since Riddick has announced a Notre Dame game, but he is one of the most respected analysts in college football.

Notre Dame Fighting Irish star Jeremiyah Love launches NIL venture

Count star running back Jeremiyah Love among the Irish stars who has his own NIL project now. Last week, the running back announced he has his own website.

The point of the site is to help tell his story. And also to sell some merch along the way. Fans can head to the site and buy graphic t-shirts emblazoned with artwork of him in action. They can also donate to his 4LOVE foundation or buy comics.

It's been interesting to see how different ND players have taken advantage of the chances they have to make a litlte money on the side.

Riley Leonard gets another honor

After his very solid performance against Stanford, Riley Leonard was named one of the Manning Award Stars of the Week.

Leonard completed 16 of 22 passes for 229 yards and three touchdowns and ran six times for 31 yards and a touchdown with a long of 18 yards. He had a quarterback rating of 94.6 in the 49-7 win over the Cardinal.

Notre Dame Fighting Irish hockey has perfect start to season

It wasn't the toughest schedule in the world to start the season, but the Golden Domers' hockey team is 3-0 thanks to wins over USNTDP, St. Lawrence and Clarkson.

Over the weekend, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish beat St. Lawrence 4-1 and Clarkson 5-2. The offense of the team looks like it might be better than it was a year ago and the goalkeeping, at least in the first three games has been quite impressive. This weekend, the Irish will get their first real test against Alaska.
