The Notre Dame Fighting Irish have some prominent opponents on their 2025 schedule. One of the teams that often gets overlooked is the North Carolina State Wolfpack.

At least one analyst believes there's a chance the ACC team could be a spoiler this year. He calls NC State the "trap game" for the Irish. You can check out why he thinks Marcus Freeman and company need to keep their heads up in the video below.

It feels like the Notre Dame Fighting Irish won't allow themselves to take any opposition lightly after last year. However, after a gauntlet of an early-season schedule, it's not hard to imagine there might be a letdown game. Will this be it?

Kyren Williams gets paid as he keeps proving the Rams right

Former Notre Dame running back Kyren Williams continues to have a heck of an NFL career. Notre Dame Fighting Irish stars named to Doak Walker Watch List

Three Notre Dame running backs – Jeremiyah Love, Jadarian Price and sophomore Aneyas Williams – have been named preseason candidates for the 2025 Doak Walker Award. No other program has more players on the award watch list. There's been one Irish finalist for the award (Reggie Brooks in 1992) and no ND player has ever won it.

Charles Jagusah helping the Irish while he's still injured

Charles Jagusah is still a ways away from putting on the pads and squaring off against defensive players, but he's helping out his teammates while he battles back from injury. In a clip shared earlier this week, the Notre Dame football team's most talented lineman is seen coaching up his teammates, recording their reps to help them with their technique. It shows that he misses being out there preparing for the season, but also that he's a team player for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
