The Notre Dame football team has been having quite a bit of success in working on its 2027 recruiting class. Now all that work has paid off in the form of defensive line prospect Abraham Sesay. The Pennsylvania edge defender recently released a Top 6 of Notre Dame, Duke, Florida State, Miami, Penn State, and South Carolina as he prepares for a critical run of spring visits.
While the Fighting Irish getting an official visit is already a big deal, it's only part of the good news for Marcus Freeman and his crew. On Wednesday, Rivals analyst Mike Singer put in an official prediction that Sesay would eventually commit to the Golden Domers.
The 6-foot-5, 220-pounder has already visited Duke and now has trips scheduled to South Carolina on March 21, Florida State on March 28, and Miami on April 10. He will return to Notre Dame for the Blue-Gold Game on April 25.

Notre Dame football Abraham Sesay schedules visits as momentum builds for the Irish
Sesay has had glowing things to say about the Irish before. Speaking to Irish Sports Daily, he explained that he loves the school's tradition on and off the field.
"They have a great combination of education and football," Sesay said. "You're able to get the best of both worlds. Notre Dame is Notre Dame."
Sesay is a 4-star player and near-consensus top-100 recruit on each of the major recruiting platforms. On the 247 Sports Composite ranking, Sesay currently sits as the No. 63 overall player, the No. 8 EDGE, and the No. 3 player from the state of Pennsylvania for the 2027 recruiting class. 247 Sports is the highest on the Pennsylvania native right now, pegging him as the No. 27 overall player and No. 6 EDGE in the class.
Singer's Wednesday night prediction isn't the only one pegging Abraham Sesay to go to Notre Dame. At the end of February, national analyst Steve Wiltfong made an identical prediction. Momentum is ramping up for Marcus Freeman and his crew.
