As the Notre Dame football team starts to work on its future classes, one 2028 quarterback, Donald Tabron II, hopes he gets an offer soon.

The idea that the Irish would be interested enough in Tabron to turn up the heat all the way up isn't out of the question. It's early yet, but he's considered the No. 2 player in the state of Michigan and a 4-star prospect according to the Rivals Industry Rankings. He's also the No. 3 QB in the entire class. He's also already got 19 offers. But Marcus Freeman and Co. hold a special place in his heart.

Why 2028 QB Donald Tabron II believes Notre Dame is a special fit

He took in what Notre Dame had to offer against Texas A&M, and he certainly liked what he saw. It wasn't his first trip to South Bend, but he's loved what he's seen every time he checks it out.

Tabron also thinks Mike Denbrock's style would suit his own. "They have a really good running back with number 24, JD Price, then of course Jeremiyah Love," Tabron II told Irish Sports Daily. "They have an excellent run attack, so they really played a balanced style. Their run game complements the pass."

Donald Tabron believes Notre Dame football complements his style

"I could see myself fitting pretty good because that's what we do at Cass. We have two or three very good running backs at Cass. We try to complement our run with our pass, so they are very similar styles of offense."

"It was electric," the young quarterback said, turning his attention to the atmosphere in Notre Dame Stadium. "After each touchdown, they were tossing the people up and down. I didn't know that was a tradition there. From the little things like that and the energy inside the stadium, it was crazy."

Tabron has gone on record saying that he'd definitely feel like an offer from the Notre Dame football team would be "different" than an offer from anywhere else. That includes the offer he's already got from the Wolverines. It feels like it's only a matter of time before the Fighting Irish make that a reality.
