While the Notre Dame football team has officially been pretty healthy so far in fall camp, there are at least three rumored injuries that could change everything.

While reports are sketchy, murmurs and whispers have alluded to backup running back Kedren Young, tight end Kevin Bauman, and starting wide receiver Jaden Greathouse all being banged up. Of the three, Young is said to have the worst prognosis, though it's worth pointing out that so far, none of the Fighting Irish coaches have said anything about any new injuries beyond a few bumps and bruises.

Notre Dame football injury chatter: Kedren Young, Kevin Bauman and Jaden Greathouse updates

Of the three Notre Dame football players, Greathouse's loss, should it be anything more serious than needing to sit out a practice, would be the most significant blow. However, Bauman isn't far behind Greathouse, for no other reason than that who will be the starting tight end hasn't been decided yet.

Bauman is also someone who has been hurt before, and another injury would be heartbreaking for a tight end who hoped to finally be healthy and show Notre Dame onlookers what he can do. Young's loss would be a hit to the depth chart, but the Irish have so much talent in the running back room, it would be a bigger bummer for the player than the team.

Greathouse has often been referred to as someone that analysts expect to break out this season. He, too, has seen his playing time cut short by injuries and is yet another player looking to show what he can do when he's healthy.

While none of the reports have been confirmed, Notre Dame football fans are waiting with baited breath to hear any update from Marcus Freeman and his staff.
