Jeremiyah Love explained why one Notre Dame foe deserved what he got

Jeremiyah Love explained why one Notre Dame football touchdown came with extra attitude against Arkansas.

While Jeremiyah Love is still preparing himself for the NFL Draft, the former Notre Dame running back recently talked about the plays at the college level that made him great. There were a few plays in particular over the last few years that have wowed fans, coaches and opposing players all at the same time. 

One play in particular got some notice because of what he did as he was finishing off a dash into the end zone. It came amid the Irish blowing out Arkansas. Love, doesn't taunt opponents very often, but close observers noticed that the star running back stared down a Razorbacks defender as he cross the goal line.

"I was kind of eying the guy before the play," the Notre Dame star said in a new video posted by the NFL's social media team. "It was supposed to be like a wheel route but it was short field so I couldn't get to my designated spot. I caught the ball, kind of felt the guy's presence there, spun out the way, used his momentum against him and then stare the linebacker down as I was going into the endzone."

Love then explained why he had a rather uncharacteristic extra swagger when he scored the touchdown.

"They were talking a lot of stuff that game, so he kind of deserved it. That was definitely one of the favorite plays in my career."

The Notre Dame running back detailed a few other plays that he absolutely loved during his career in South Bend. That included his infamous touchdown run in the College Football Playoff against Penn State. Still, it's interesting that his play against Arkansas made the list, clearly
