Members of the Notre Dame football team are on a rather unique version of the team's media days. Instead of handling the situation like most conferences do, Marcus Freeman and several Fighting Irish players, including Jeremiyah Love, have been touring New York talk shows.
Earlier this week, Freeman and Love appeared on ESPN to talk about how the team is getting ready for the season and what they're excited about. Eventually, the talk turned to the relationship he and his teammates had in the running back room. As has been the case almost every time Love opens his mouth, Notre Dame fans are going to love what he said about the program's culture. Especially among the running backs.

"So first of all, they're my brothers," the Notre Dame football star said on First Take. "I can trust them guys with, anything. They can trust me with anything. You know, we built a very, very strong bond. You know, me, JD, and Gi'Bran, I've been with them for two years now. Aeneas just came in last year. Keidron's been there as well. We just got a new running back, you know, Nolan James. He's a dog. So everybody loves each other."
"Everybody, competes in a healthy way. There's no animosity in the room, none of that. We all just, you know, make sure that we're on each other, that we're doing the right things every single day. Pushing each other to just be the best version of ourselves."
Love went on to say that the the room is a team in the truest sense of the word.
"We got each other's back. If I'm down, JD's up. If JD's down, the next man's going to step up. We train in that way. Coach pushes this program in a way that, when it's your time to step up, you're going to be ready."
Notre Dame football fans saw that a year ago as the team marched to the National Title Game. That kind of healthy relationship will only make the team better. Now it's about living up to that this season.
