While Notre Dame has had the next man up mentality, they are currently making a wild CFP run, but now a new complication just hit the team, according to On3’s Tyler Horka.
Notre Dame football is apparently dealing with the flu and it is being passed around the team as the Irish are just hours away from their semifinals kickoff. Jeremiyah Love told media he had the flu in the first-round matchup with Indiana, but according to Horka, this time the flu is going throughout the locker room.

No report has come out from Notre Dame football PR team and no changes have been made to their injury report. Notre Dame football has found a way to respond to the adversity of injuries all season long and now has to overcome just one more obstacle.
This is something to lookout for in tonights semifinal showdown. Horka reports that it is mostly back ups and special team players, but Irish fans know how crucial their special teams have been all year long.
Notre Dame football will look to continue this 12 game win streak against Penn State and punch their ticket to the National Championship. However, it seems they will have to find a way to win once again despite several players battling illness.
