The Notre Dame football team has been making some waves on the recruiting scene in the last few weeks. That’s despite the fact that so far, the Irish still haven’t landed a recruit in 2025. That may be changing later this spring.
There’s been talk about the Blue and Gold managing to land a 5-star commit in the 2026 class. But it’s possible before they pull him in, there’s a surprising member of the 2025 class that’s still available and is looking in the Golden Domers’ direction.
Notre Dame football battling for reclassified 2025 CB J’Vari Flowers
J’Vari Flowers was originally a member of the 2026 class. However, the Miami, Florida 4-star cornerback has reclassified to the 2025 class and it’s possible that he could end up landing in South Bend.
The Notre Dame football team is going to find out soon just where Flowers will go. He’s announced he’s making his commitment on March 31. And when Monday rolls around, the Irish have a chance to pull in the defensive back and immediately add him to their roster.
Of course, in order to bring the player home, Marcus Freeman and company are fighting against Miami, Florida, North Carolina, and Auburn. Obviously pulling him out of his home state is going to be the toughest. Beating Bill Belichick in his first year in Chapel Hill isn’t going to be that easy either.
At the moment, Miami looks like the team to beat. But the Notre Dame football team is one of those programs that caught the eye of J’Vari Flowers. Analysts thinks they’ve made up some ground. If he does commit on March 31, he just might be pulling the trigger for the Irish.
