The Notre Dame football team has landed its 17th commitment in the 2026 class and yet another offensive lineman who looks to make the team well-armed in that department. More importantly, Grayson McKeogh’s commitment is almost certainly the commitment that will open the floodgates and allow the Fighting Irish to finish up June very strong.
McKeogh was predicted to be giving his pledge to Marcus Freeman and company earlier on Wednesday. He’d told recruiting analysts his school of choice. However, they allowed him to make it official all alone.
Notre Dame football recruiting lands key 4-star OL Grayson McKeogh
In getting McKeogh, the Notre Dame football team landed a Top-300 prospect, the No. 21 offensive lineman and No. 8 player in Pennsylvania, according to On3’s industry rankings.
According to Irish Sports Daily, offensive line coach Joe Rudolph, offensive analyst Rob Delaney, and Director of Recruiting Carter Auman all played significant roles in landing McKeogh, who admitted before his official visit that Notre Dame had been very consistent in communication over the last few months.
“It definitely gives me reassurance that they are a team that has shown consistent interest in me and somewhere that I feel like I'm going to be prioritized,” McKeogh said earlier this month. “They've just been able to stay consistent with that and like I said, it's a good feeling.”
It was a good enough feeling that the Notre Dame football team was able to close the deal and reel in yet another 4-star commitment in Grayson McKeogh. Now the real question is how many more are coming this week?
