The Notre Dame football team is on quite a tear regarding the 2027 recruiting class. That was demonstrated yet again when Quentin Burrell became the latest prospect to be projected to eventually land with the Fighting Irish.
Burrell is a 4-star prospect who is the No. 62 overall prospect and No. 12 wide receiver in America per the 2027 Rivals Industry Ranking. Earlier this week, Rivals analyst Mike Singer put in an official prediction for Marcus Freeman and Co., even though Singer understands Burrell isn't really close to pulling the trigger.
Notre Dame gaining major traction with 4-star 2027 wide receiver target Quentin Burrell
If Burrell's recruiting rankings aren't impressive enough, then his offer list should be. While Notre Dame and Michigan are the top competitors for the wide receiver, there are plenty of other schools that want in on the action.

Other top programs that have offered the Chicago star include Georgia, Ohio State, Alabama, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, Penn State, Tennessee, Miami, Indiana, Auburn, Nebraska, South Carolina, Louisville, Arizona State, Iowa, Missouri, NC State, Missouri, Illinois, Maryland, UNC, Vanderbilt, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin, Michigan State, Minnesota, Kansas State, Northwestern, Syracuse, Purdue, Stanford, and Kansas, among others.
It's hardly a secret as to why so many programs are interested in Quentin Burrell. He posted a fantastic sophomore season in 2024 for Mount Carmel. The receiver managed to haul in 75 receptions for 1,257 yards and 18 touchdowns during that tremendous campaign. Through five games this fall, Burrell has continued to post impressive production that includes 30 receptions for 559 yards and 10 scores.
With even Singer admitting Quentin Burrell isn't close to picking a team, the fight is far from over for the 4-star wide receiver. However, the Notre Dame football team is clearly in a good place.
