The Notre Dame football team has been making some moves lately in the 2027 recruiting class. One of the latest moves is to jump into the lead for Brayden Parks, one of the best defensive linemen in his cycle.
Most insiders have viewed Parks' recruitment as a battle between the Irish, Ohio State, and Oregon. Illinois is also making a run at the four-star talent. However, the fight of late is mostly between ND and the Buckeyes. There's also a family connection for Parks and the Golden Domers. His godfather is Notre Dame legend Chris Zorich, and his cousin is former running back Tony Jones Jr.

Those are a few of the reasons why On3 analyst Mike Singer has officially put in a prediction for Notre Dame to land Brayden Parks.
The 6-foot, 3-inch, and 205-pound behemoth in the middle of the line would be a massive get for Marcus Freeman and Co. The Irish were one of the first major programs to offer him, and that move will pay off. Parks is the country's No. 233 overall prospect in the 247Sports Composite.
Singer has said that the other power teams that are coming after the big defensive linemen won't make winning his recruiting battle easy, but he believes that in the end, he's someone the Blue and Gold will be able to win over.
The Irish are just starting to turn their attention to the 2027 class, and now that they've got one of the best quarterbacks in the cycle, other prospects are taking notice. With five visits to South Bend already, the Notre Dame football team has stood out from the crowd and will continue to work to bring in the Chicago, Illinois, prospect next December.
