The Notre Dame football team wraps up its 2025 regular season late Sunday night against the Stanford Cardinal, and there's a bit more at stake than people thought when they woke up Friday morning.

With the Texas Longhorns logging a massive upset win over No. 3 Texas A & M, they could take an at-large bid away from one of the lower-seeded teams. That means Marcus Freeman and his crew need to post yet another blowout loss to make sure they get plenty of style points. Of course, there's a real question as to whether anyone will be awake to see it.

Notre Dame vs Stanford final odds

For the second straight week, the Notre Dame football team is listed as a favorite by more than 30 points according to FanDuel Sportsbook. The Irish are listed as 32.5-point favorites.

The total is just 49.5, meaning, of course, that ND is expected to be the only team that will do the scoring. That will likely be the outcome, considering the Cardinal offense isn't very good.

On the other hand, Stanford's run defense is one of the better units in the country. There is an outside chance the ACC team could find a way to slow down Jeremiyah Love.

Notre Dame vs Stanford final prediction

When the two teams do battle very late on Saturday night, it will not just be the Irish's last regular-season game. It will also be the last game that Frank Reich is at the helm for the Cardinal. Reich is likely to go out with a blowout loss.

Notre Dame football wins 50-10.
